Continuous Professional Development (CPD) is the process by which a professional person maintains the quality and relevance of their skills throughout their working life. A key feature of New England Division of General Practice’s support is providing high quality CPD for the whole of the practice team: GPs, Practice Nurses, Practice Managers, and practice staff.
CPD events take place regularly and include educational evenings, small group learning and procedural workshops. GP activities are designed to provide opportunities to increase GP skills and knowledge in a wide range of topics identified from the NEDGP Annual Survey. CPD activities provide the added benefit of peer support and networking with others working in the region.
All events are advertised by fax and mail and RSVP is required to attend events.
