The Locum Program has been run by the Division for many years and is regarded by some GP’s as one of our most worthwhile activities. This program aims to provide an appropriately trained and qualified GP to provide a relief service for the GP’s of New England to allow them to take periods of leave from their practice.

The Program is structured to be cost neutral for the Division whilst keeping the locum fees charged to GPs to a minimum.
